The logo is the basis for Ivanhoé Cambridge’s corporate personality and visual platform. Given that the Company is a subsidiary of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, a second version of the logo combines the two entities.
Some simple guidelines have been developed to ensure consistent use of the two logos in all their applications.
The use of the IC logo, on its own or in combination with the signature of the Caisse, depends on a number of factors, such as context, space provided, target audience, etc. To ensure proper use of the logo, please contact the Public Affairs and Communications team at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 514 841-8181.
Colour is added only to the version that combines the Ivanhoé Cambridge logo and the signature of the Caisse. This version of the logo is used primarily for communications products signed jointly with the Caisse or another subsidiary.
The dotted line identifies the logo’s protected area. No other visual or typographical elements should encroach on this area.
In addition, the symbol serves as a standard of measurement used to determine the minimum distance required when other visual or typographical elements are placed nearby.
To ensure that the logo is legible at all times, a minimum size has been set for both printed and electronic materials.
The basic measurement remains the same, whether the logo is used on its own or in combination with the signature of the Caisse.
Any graphic treatments other than those recommended here are prohibited so as not to compromise the integrity of the Company’s brand identity.
E.g.: photographic effects, additions of or variations in colour, deletion of or changes to the layout of logo components, distortions of any kind, addition of unauthorized backgrounds and so on.
